Liz Faermark, certified clinical herbalist & clinical holistic nutritionist

Services offered: Herbal Medicine Consultation, Holistic Nutrition, Custom Herbal Formulas, Herbal Medicine Education

I am a certified clinical herbalist and clinical holistic nutritionist with over seven years of experience delivering individualized, effective wellness, nutrition and lifestyle protocols to help address both chronic and acute health complaints.

My love of plants and plant medicine was born in my backyard in the Midwest. Slowly, I learned from and about the plants through the practices of farming, foraging and medicine-making. I moved to Colorado in 2018 to focus on my herbal studies. Here, I completed my certifications in both clinical herbalism and holistic nutrition at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where I studied anatomy and physiology, field botany and plant ID, phytochemistry, holistic nutrition, herbal formulation, herbal safety, medicine making, clinical skills and more. I am now a core faculty member at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism where I teach beginner and advanced herbal students, and act as a mentor for our clinicians-in-training.

Accessibility is central to my personal herbal philosophy. I'm a big fan of doing what you can and using what you have. I value thrift, ingenuity, and creativity. I will work with you to find accessible health solutions that fit your unique needs, means and lifestyle. I am passionate about sharing valuable information about human-plant relationships that fosters agency, resilience, and meaningful change in individuals and communities alike.
