Yoga Nidra is a restorative practice that invites the nervous system out of chronic “doing” and into a state of deep rest, repair, and embodied awareness. Using breath, somatic attention, and guided meditation, the practice helps create conditions for relaxation without requiring effort or performance. Yoga nidra supports nervous system regulation and recovery from chronic stress and overstimulation.
Marin will lead this 60-minute class for DHHC members, designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and cultivate a greater sense of ease and safety. You may practice lying down or in any comfortable supported position. No yoga experience is required.
We will provide yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets. Come with comfy clothing, and an eye mask or your personal yoga mat, if desired.
There will 20-30 minutes before the yoga nidra to connect with other members.
