Dr. Cindi Rauert Lanners is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health and Pelvic Health. She is a highly skilled pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapist dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals across all genders. With a strong foundation in exercise science and a passion for pelvic health, she has established herself as a leading expert in her field.
Cindi has focused her career in non-profit healthcare at Denver area hospital systems including Intermountain (SCL Health), UCHealth Anschutz Campus and AdventHealth Parker Hospital. Cindi worked alongside a multidisciplinary team of providers to address complex cases involving bowel and bladder dysfunction, pelvic/abdominal pain, and prenatal/postpartum care. Cindi was also embedded within the Urogynecology clinic 1 day a week providing care alongside a multidisciplinary team. Cindi has experience with Telesis EMG biofeedback, pelvic floor dry needling, pessary education and providing pre and post op care for sacrocolpopexy, vaginoplasty, prostatectomy and complex pelvic pain. Cindi is excited to bring these skills and experience to private practice at Apto Physical Therapy.
Dr. Rauert Lanners’ commitment to excellence is evident in her extensive education and training. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University and has received specialized certifications in pelvic floor dry needling and pelvic health for all genders. Cindi’s expertise extends to strength training athletes, with specialized training in pelvic health for the fitness athlete including ICE Pelvic course, a certification as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist and a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Cindi also has specialized health transformation coaching experience in macro based nutrition counseling and virtual strength training programs.
Her contributions to the physical therapy profession have been widely recognized. Cindi has been honored with prestigious awards such as the Bob Doctor Service Award from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Colorado Chapter and the National APTA Emerging Leader Award. She serves as affiliate faculty at University of Colorado School of Physical Therapy and serves as guest lecturer at University of Colorado School of Pharmacy and Regis University School of Physical Therapy. She participates in health advocacy to improve patient access to care at the state and national level. Her dedication to advocacy and education have helped shape the future of physical therapy at both the state and national level. Outside of the clinic, Cindi enjoys spending time with family hiking, skiing or relaxing around the dinner table together. She also enjoys crushing her own strength training goals, including participating in masters powerlifting category.
